Nicolas Sauret is a researcher at the labex Les passés dans le présent and at the TGIR Huma-Num. As head of digital development and innovation, he develops on the one hand the FabPart Lab, which aims at fostering the making of mediation, participation and digital valorization of memory and heritage, and on the other hand the HN Lab engaged in a prospective way in the identification and experimentation of research tools in the humanities.

As an engineer at the Institut de recherche et d'innovation du Centre Pompidou (2009-2015), then during his doctoral studies at the Université de Montréal and the Université Paris Nanterre (2015-2020), he explored the collective nature of the production, circulation and legitimisation of knowledge, combining the theory of editorialisation with an action research approach to digital writing practices.
