The projects

This theme aims to promote new approaches to temporality through a radical re-evaluation of chronological models and a closer understanding of the plural and heterogenous ways of experiencing time. How do we embark upon specific forms of temporality, that maybe paradoxical, challenging, or experimental, through a wide range of frameworks for retrospection and anticipation? Research on these frameworks is new to field of historical study, in which these two dimensions (retrospective and prospective) are rarely covered symmetrically.
