Memory of Spaces
This theme aims to promote a genuine ecology of memorial processes, playing close attention to their environmental, psychological, technological, historical, and anthropological dimensions. Generally covered either through the perspective of human understanding (psychological memory, social memory, or cultural memory), or through material culture and heritage, questions of memory are only beginning to be considered from an environmental perspective. The approach here is interdisciplinary and based on the information capabilities of spaces, ecosystems, and territories.
