The archives department and the Americas department of the French Foreign Office, the Institute for Social Sciences (UMR 7220), the Institute of Latin American Studies (University Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris 3), and the Library of Contemporary International Documentation (BDIC) organize the symposium "Archives of South American Dictatorships : spaces and places of appearance of conflicts between right to forget and right to the truth".

Within the framework of the "Modeling, frames of reference, and digital culture" cluster's project, another workshop on the Linked Open Data is set on Thursday, November 24, 2016, from 1:30pm to 4:30pm on the campus. It is chaired by Michel Jacobson (CNRS/BnF) and Pascaline Kenfack (UPOND). It compares the method developped within MODREF with the one from the "Sources of ethnomusicology" project.

The book Visites scolaires, histoire et citoyenneté : les expositions du centenaire de la Première Guerre mondiale [School visits, history and citizenship : the exhibitions for the Centenary of World War 1] is released on December 7 by the publisher Documentation Française. It is written by Sylvain Antichan, Sarah Gensburger, Jeanne Teboul and Gwendoline Torterat. It presents the results of the inquiries conducted within the framework of the "Study of social appropriations of historical exhibitions" project.

In the framework of the Indigenous Wayana- Apalaí knowledge project, developed within the Pasts in the Present cluster, and on the occasion of the coming of Wayana project members, the quai Branly museum organizes a conference. Mataliwa, Akayuli, Kulitaike, Ikale, Aimawale will discuss their implication in this project of restitution of the Wayana and Apalaï knowledge. They will also present their recent work on museum collections at the museum of the Guiana cultures and quai Branly museum as well as on ancient sound recordings kept, notably, at the CREM/LESC.
