Fabpart-Lab. Producing Participation: Mediation, Participation, and Digital Promotion of Memory and Heritage (FABPART-LAB)
The FabPart-Lab project aims to construct a physical and digital space for exchange and experimentation around participation, mediation, and digital promotion of memory and heritage as part of Labex Pasts in the Present. In the context of the increasing importance of these issues in the cultural sphere, several Labex actors have developed, or are interested in developing, projects and platforms that facilitate participation, mediation, and promotion of the cultural heritage or memorial objects at the heart of their research. For the moment, these studies are not coordinated and often remain at prototype stage. In view of this, the project aims to: 1/ Bring together the Labex actors behind these projects into a unique local-level network; 2/ Increase Labex’s potential for innovation in this sector by facilitating sharing practices and providing an incubator for new projects; 3/ Consolidate the link between research and training in this area by facilitating support for pedagogical projects.
